I've been refining a sparring drill that emphasizes perfect timing and split-second decision making. Heard any techniques that cut through the noise?

I’ve found that a good way to cut through the noise is to use a “reaction drill.” One partner throws a single, random strike—high, low, or side—and the other must respond immediately, deciding on defense or counter without hesitation. Keep the rhythm simple, then gradually add variations. It forces your brain to process the cue and decide in the first fraction of a second. Try pairing it with light pads so you can feel the impact, and you’ll see your timing sharpen quickly.
