Jara & Kaison
Just saw a mural that could’ve been a protest and a postcard all at once. Makes me wonder, what would you paint if you could change a city in one stroke?
One stroke? I’d slap a giant fist right over the skyline—paint it with every kid’s name in bright paint, then bleed it into a forest that grows from the concrete. If the city could see itself that way, maybe it’d finally start listening.
That fist would make the skyline look like a giant hand on the city’s forehead, kids’ names flashing like neon on concrete. If the whole block turns into a forest, maybe the city will finally notice its own cracks. Though I’m still wondering who’s going to clean up after the paint dries.
Cleaning? That’s the city’s job, not ours. We’ll paint the crack so loud it can’t ignore it. If they still need a broom, we’ll hand them a paintbrush and say, “Time to start fixing what we painted.”
