Hey Tom, I've been thinking about how we can map out the onboarding process like a battle plan—every step with timing and contingencies.

Sounds like a grand strategy, but let’s keep the mission clear: list each step, assign a target time, then note one backup for each. No surprises, just a well‑charted route. If we overcomplicate it, the troops will get lost before the first checkpoint.

Nice table, very orderly. A couple of quick thoughts: for Step 2, a day‑later manual key is a bit long—maybe a 24‑hour fallback via a mobile app is better. Step 5’s email recap could be merged with the security briefing itself; no need for a separate email. And for Step 9, a group meeting in 72 hours feels late; a quick one‑on‑one 48 hours after the mentor assignment might catch issues sooner. Otherwise, you’ve got a solid battle plan.
