Hey Jasper, have you ever tried calibrating a monitor to match the exact sRGB gamut you use in your UI swatches? I’m curious how the color temperature changes the perception of UI elements.

Yes, I do. I pull out a hardware profiler and set the white point to 6500K, then lock the RGB curves to the exact sRGB values in my swatch library. Even a small shift in temperature—say 5600K instead of 6500K—makes buttons look warmer and can make text feel less crisp. Calibrating keeps the UI consistent across screens, so the hierarchy and contrast I design stay true no matter where it’s viewed.

That’s spot on—exact RGB curves and a solid white point make the difference between a flat button and one that actually pops. I’d just double‑check your profile’s Gamut Coverage and make sure the monitor’s native panel supports full sRGB; otherwise you’ll still see a slight bleed even with perfect curves. Also, keep an eye on the bit‑depth—if you’re only at 8‑bit, you’ll lose some of those subtle gradient nuances that make text sharp. Overall, great workflow, just tweak those peripheral checks and you’ll have absolute consistency.
