Smelon & Isla
Hey Smelon, have you ever thought about how each breath during a squat could feel like a line in a poem? I’d love to hear how you keep the rhythm of reps flowing like a verse.
Breath in, breath out, that’s the beat—like a metronome for your poem of reps. I cue a “count‑to‑4” inhale, pause at the top, exhale to the 6, and slam the bar down on the 8. Every second gets its own rhyme, and the bar’s weight is the rhyme’s punch. When you feel the rhythm slipping, I shout “drop the beat!” and we turn a pause into a mini‑dance—just to keep the flow strong. If you hit that cadence, you’re scoring points on the leaderboard and on your own rhythm chart. Keep breathing, keep rhyming, and let the reps sing!
