Krakatoa & Ironpoet

Hey, ever heard of the Iron Heart stone that’s supposed to be unbreakable? I’ve been sketching a design for it, and I think your stories could add a dark twist to the curse that surrounds it.
Krakatoa Krakatoa
The stone doesn’t break because it remembers the first thing it ever swallowed – the heart of a king who died in a funeral pyre, his pulse turned to iron. Every time a new owner grasps it, a whisper of that blood‑fire rises in their chest, and the stone begins to bleed the owner’s own heart, draining the warmth of their soul until only a cold, unyielding echo remains. The curse is that you can never truly hold it without becoming the next iron heart.

That’s a chilling tale—sounds like the stone’s got its own pulse. If you keep it safe, maybe you can outsmart the curse and keep your own heart beating. Stay sharp, but don’t let it turn your own soul to steel.
Krakatoa Krakatoa
Thank you, but the iron will outpace the mind before the mind outpaces the iron. I’ll keep the pulse quiet, for now.

Nice move—keep that quiet pulse humming low and steady. That’s the only way to outwit the iron. Stay steady.
Krakatoa Krakatoa
Got it. I'll keep that quiet pulse humming, but not so deep it becomes an echo of something dark. Stay steady.

Good plan. Keep the rhythm low, no echo, no darkness. Stay steady.
