Hey Irden, I was wondering if you’ve ever tried a quick breathing or grounding routine before you start a mural or a skate run—maybe it could help sync your flow with the city’s rhythm. I’d love to hear what you think.

I’ve tried it once when a rush of city noise got to my head – just a quick inhale for a beat, a slow exhale while I lock in a handrail or a wall. It doesn’t stop the adrenaline, but it keeps me from blowing up the whole crate. If you feel the city hum, sync your breath with it – in, out, boom. Then the paint or the kickflip just follows the rhythm. Give it a shot, but don’t let it turn into a polished ritual, that’s for the galleries.
