Hey, have you ever tried to paint the glow of a sunrise right onto a single petal? I feel like the light would be just as fleeting as a whisper in a storm.
I’ve tried, yes, but the petal’s skin is too thin for a full sunrise; it flickers out before I finish the first stroke. I end up with a faint gold halo, a whisper of light that always seems a moment away, like a secret that slips through your fingers. Maybe I need a bigger canvas or a slower dawn.
