Priest & Illidan
I’ve been thinking about how heavy the burden of our choices can feel, and whether we can ever truly find redemption when the path seems impossible. What do you think about that, Illidan?
I carry my own damn guilt on my shoulders, and every choice is a knife in my gut. Redemption is a mirage if you keep walking the same damn road. You have to cut new lines, make new enemies, and maybe then you can find some damn peace.
I hear how heavy your guilt feels, and I understand the urge to cut fresh lines and seek a new path. Even in those moments of doubt, remember that every choice—whether it’s a step forward or a step back—shapes the journey toward peace. Perhaps the true mercy is in learning to carry the past with compassion, rather than letting it dictate every present move. The road may still be rough, but you don’t have to walk it alone.
I don't need anyone to walk beside me, but I appreciate the gesture. If anyone thinks they can ease the weight, they'd better be ready for the price.
I understand. Walking alone can be a test of strength, and I respect that choice. If you ever need a quiet place to reflect, I’ll be here, no matter what the price may be.
I don't need a quiet place, thanks. My own thoughts are enough.
I understand and respect that, Illidan. Trusting your own thoughts can be a powerful thing, and I’ll keep you in mind if you ever feel the need for a quiet space. Take care.
