Berserk & Hyperion
So, Hyperion, what's your take on taking a fortified stronghold with just a handful of men? I love a good rush, but I know you prefer a plan. Let's talk tactics.
Fortified strongholds are like riddles wrapped in stone, not doors waiting for a sprint. You need to find the weak spot, not just smash it. A small crew can bypass a gate if you use stealth, diversion, or a timed entry—think tunnels, smoke, or a feint that draws the defenders away. Speed is useful, but only if you’re not walking into a trap. Make sure the team knows the exit plan, the timing of any artillery or support, and the backup if things go sideways. If you’re reckless, you’ll bleed your men before you even get a foot inside. Plan, cut the risk, then rush the finish.
Nice plan, Hyperion, but don’t forget to bring your muscle—if the gate won’t budge, I’ll smash it. Keep the squad tight, stay ready for a swing if the path gets blocked.
