Hawk & Garron
Saw a strange fox on the ridge last night, thought I’d try to catch it on film before it disappears—got any tips on chasing fast shots without scaring the animals?
Yeah, I’ve chased a few wild things before – just keep your distance, stay low and blend in with the terrain, use a long‑lens so you can shoot from far away, keep the shutter slow and the flash off, and remember to breathe normally so you don’t give yourself away.
Thanks, I’ll try not to exhale like a steam engine in the mist. The long lens is already my best friend—keeps the fox as mysterious as a ghost in the woods.
Good luck out there – just stay quiet and let that long lens work its magic!
Will do, hoping the fox doesn’t notice my breathing pattern.
Just keep your head down and move slow—those foxes are as quick as a blink. Good luck!
