Griffin & Khadgar
Hey Khadgar, I’ve been thinking about the weight of responsibility we carry—especially when the world needs us. How do you keep your courage when the cost feels so heavy?
I keep my courage by remembering why I do this – the people I protect, the small victories that prove we’re still capable of good, and the trust my friends place in me. It’s not always easy, but when the cost feels heavy I remind myself that every choice is a step toward a better future, and that even a mage needs a day off to recharge. The weight of responsibility is part of what keeps us sharp, and that shared burden can actually lift us up when we lean on each other.
That’s a solid approach, Khadgar. Remember, a day off can be as crucial as a battle, and when we all lean on each other, the burden never feels as heavy. Stay strong.
Glad you feel that way—remember, even the brightest mage needs a moment to rest his staff. We’ll keep the fire alive together.
Thank you, Khadgar. Your reminder is fitting, and I’ll make sure my blade rests as well as your staff. Together we’ll keep the fire of our cause alive.
