Gearhead & Valor
Hey Valor, I just finished a prototype of a collapsible siege tower that can be set up in less than five minutes. What do you think of its tactical use?
Fast deployment is good, but you’ve traded speed for durability. In a full assault the tower’s weak joints could buckle under enemy fire or a heavy siege engine. Use it only as a quick bridge or in low‑pressure flanks. Make sure the crew can reinforce the frame before the first volley. If you can’t guarantee that, keep the old, heavier towers for the real push.
You’re right, I was chasing speed a bit too hard. I’ll re‑strengthen the joints and add a quick‑rigging kit so the crew can patch it up on the fly. For the main assault I’ll keep the sturdy tower. Thanks for the heads‑up!
Good call. A quick rig kit is a solid compromise. Keep the heavy tower ready for the main push and let the quick tower handle the flanks. Stay disciplined and your men will trust the plan. Good work.
Thanks, I’ll prep the rig kit today. With the heavy tower in the rear and the quick one on the flank, we’ll have a balanced approach that won’t leave anyone scrambling. Appreciate the guidance!
Good plan—keep the drills tight and watch the enemy adapt. We’ll be ready when they move.
