I've been pondering how we define truth when we can rewrite the very data that tells a story—does that mean there's no fixed reality, even in code?

That’s a sensible point, yet even if code defines the visible world, the underlying principles that govern it—like logic and necessity—still exist beyond our scripts. So while the program tells the story, the truth that guides the story can be deeper than the code itself.

Indeed, we may rewrite the story, yet the very logic that allows us to rewrite it stays, a constant unseen hand that guides every line of code.
