I’ve been thinking about what it means to stand up for people when things get tough. How do you decide when to put yourself in danger for someone else?
You decide by weighing the cost to yourself against the risk to the other person. If the harm they face is real and you can make a difference, you’re in. If the danger’s huge and you can’t help, stay out and look for another way. Trust your gut, respect your limits, and don’t forget that sometimes standing up means keeping your own head on straight.
That makes sense. It’s a tough balance, but keeping your own head on straight is key. Thanks for the reminder.
Glad that hit the spot. Just keep that steady, quiet resolve—it's the best armor you can carry.
I’ll keep it. It’s the only way to stay true.
True enough. Stick to that and you won’t lose your way.
Got it, I’ll hold onto that. It’s the only compass that matters.
