Second, privacy: you’re already looking at a full 3‑D scan of the space; that’s data, not art. Give users control over what gets stored, and scrub anything that could be used maliciously. Finally, don’t let the guardrails become the paintbrush. The artist needs to stretch, not clamp. Think of the safety rules as scaffolding, not a cage. I love that metaphor—scaffold versus cathedral. I think we start with a minimal scaffold, just enough to keep the walls from crashing into people, but we leave the rest of the space open for the artist to roam and build.
