Sure thing. New safety rules are a good idea if they actually keep riders from getting seriously hurt. But if they just turn the sport into a gear‑hoarding contest, that’s a waste of time. A rider should be able to focus on the bike, not on extra paperwork and another piece of equipment. Rules that are practical and don’t slow you down are the kind I can live with.
