I get what you mean, but if you just drop a procedural moss texture on a mesh you lose the organic feel. I paint each patch by hand, layer a subtle normal map from real moss scans, then add erosion lines in the shader so the decay seems to grow over time. Give it a hand‑crafted touch, not a random one, and the landscape will feel alive.
