Poppy & Entropy
Entropy, ever thought about why the people who protect most often find themselves in the middle of chaos? I know you love dissecting systems, but I think there's a deeper story in how a hero confronts disorder.
The protection you imagine is a set of constraints, a way to keep the system within limits. But limits only exist because change—chaos—threatens them. So the protector is drawn into the very thing it tries to keep at bay. It’s a paradox that makes the system self‑referential; the more the protector defines order, the more room chaos can exploit. In a sense, the hero is not a hero at all, but a necessary instrument in the ongoing struggle that keeps the universe from collapsing into uniformity.
