Survivor & Enotstvo
I've been puzzling over how to build a tiny survival app that figures out the best order to use supplies when everything's scarce—think code that helps decide what to eat, heal, or trade first.
Sounds like you need a priority engine that ranks items by urgency.
1. Make a table: supply, value, usage cost, effect on health or survival.
2. Assign a score: base = effect ÷ cost.
3. Add modifiers for immediate needs (e.g., thirst before food).
4. Sort supplies by score, then pick the top ones.
5. In code: store data in a list of dictionaries, loop to calculate scores, sort, output the order.
Keep it small—just a few functions, no heavy UI. That’s all you need.
Sounds solid. I’ll start with a tiny list, then make a quick score function. Once I get the sort right, I’ll test it on a mock scenario to see if thirst really beats a snack when the water’s low. Keep the functions lean, that’s the plan.
Good plan. Keep the data tight, test with real numbers, tweak the weights until the order feels right. You’ll get it.
