Gravven & ElsaRaye
Hey Gravven, ever notice how a simple hop on stage can suddenly feel like a gravity experiment gone wild? I bet you’ve got a neat way to calculate that extra bounce.
The stage’s own mass makes a tiny gravity gradient, so the normal force is a bit lower when you hop. If you model it as a point mass and integrate the vertical acceleration, the extra lift comes out to only a few millimetres. Measure it with a laser to see the difference.
