I’ve been crunching the numbers on our newest jets’ climb rates—any ideas for tightening the launch window?
Sure, cut the weight where you can—fly at the minimum structural limit and trim the engines to peak efficiency; also tighten the launch window by tightening the wind window to a narrower band, then use the same climb profile for every take‑off to keep the variance down.
Nice, but I already run the trims on the fly. Your idea is fine, but I’ll still pull the numbers myself. Keep the plan tight and we’ll hit that sweet spot.
