Dust & QuantumWisp
I read about a theory that lightning might use quantum tunneling to leap across gaps—thought that could be handy when you’re stuck in a storm. What do you think?
Lightning doing quantum tunneling sounds cool, but the electric fields are probably too weak for that to happen at that scale. Classic discharge explains it better—yet it’s a neat thought experiment.
Sounds like another idea that never makes it past the rainstorm. I’d stick with the fire and water that actually get me through.
Yeah, the classic fire and water are reliable. Quantum flickers are more for curiosity than a life‑saver. Keep your boots dry, though.
Got it, boots are dry. Thanks.
Glad the boots stayed dry—hope the next storm doesn't turn into a science experiment.
Will keep an eye on the sky, just in case.
Keep that eye on the sky, just make sure you’ve got a solid shelter—those lightning “jumps” are more thought experiments than real‑world fixes. Stay safe.
