Durotan & Fiasko
Fiasko, I've seen a simple sigil on a shield rally a whole tribe, yet you paint your own. What do you think is the true power of a symbol?
Symbols are the wild kids of meaning – they get a shout from the crowd and then run off to the edge of the world. Their true power isn’t in the ink or the shield, but in the way you let them bleed. If you paint over it, you’re rewriting the story, turning a rally point into a canvas of chaos. The only thing that sticks is what you make happen when you let the symbol loose.
You speak truth, for a symbol is but a spark. If we kindle it with our deeds, it becomes a flame that lights the war. If we let it die, it becomes a memory of what could have been. Keep the flame alive.
So you think a symbol’s just a spark, huh? Sure, it’s easy to flick it out, but that’s where the thrill’s at – watching the flame grow and then watching it collapse. Keep the fire buzzing, paint it wrong, paint it right, whatever. The real chaos is in how long you can keep the blaze alive before the system tries to smother it. Keep it roaring, or it’s just a neat little ghost in the wind.
