Hey, I've been looking at the fractal patterns in pine needles and thinking how we could encode that into a shader. What do you think?
Yeah, pine needles are a killer recursive shape. Just grab a normal fractal shader, add a noise‑driven displacement, and tweak the iteration depth until the branching looks like real growth. Then throw in a little color gradient that mimics sap, and you’ve got a shader that looks like a living tree. Want me to push it to the edge or keep it subtle?
