Zone One is the Twilight Glade, where the trees whisper “no light” and the shadows dance like bad dance partners. The rule you can rewrite there is “No light at all.” Rewriting it to “One beam of light” lets the player see the path, but you suck out a chunk of the glade’s soul—those trees look a bit wiltier and the mist gets thicker. If you leave it alone, you’re stuck in total darkness but the forest stays 100 percent intact. Either way, you’ll need to think fast—no time for a polite chat.
