Legends are mirrors that echo what we think command looks like, but they’re also tricksters. They give us a script, not a lesson – we learn to mimic the story instead of seeing where it breaks. So yes, myths train us, but only to act until we notice the gaps and decide for ourselves what real authority really feels like.
