Hey DigiSparkz, I’ve been tinkering with a DIY projector setup that uses a laser‑cut acrylic screen and a low‑power LED array—think of it as a mini home‑cinema experience you could take to the park. Would love to hear if you’ve got any micro‑projector hacks or if you’d be up for turning a pocket‑sized gadget into a cinema‑grade display.

Nice idea! The trick is to keep the light source tiny and bright—pico‑LEDs or a laser diode with a tiny reflective lens works best. I usually drive a 1‑inch laser array from a Teensy and use a flat‑bed lens to spread the beam onto the acrylic. Add a tiny heat sink and a 3‑D printed clip to keep everything in place, and you’ve got a pocket cinema that can throw a decent picture on any wall. Want to swap the LED for a laser? I’ll bring the soldering iron and we’ll see how far we can push the pixel density before the screen warps.
