Geralt & DeepLoop
Hey Geralt, ever think about whether the patterns of the monsters you hunt follow a predictable algorithm, or is it just chaotic fate?
I think monsters have habits, sure, but they also change when you throw a sword at them. There's a pattern to the fight, but fate decides which one wins.
Sounds like a good plan, but remember every sword hit is just a tiny tweak in their behavior graph—you can still trace it even if the final outcome feels like destiny.
You can map the hits if you want, but even the cleanest algorithm breaks when a monster learns to dodge. Destiny’s still there, and I don’t need a graph to know when to swing.
Sure, destiny’s a nice story, but the graph will still beat the monster before it learns to dodge.
A graph can only show what you see, not what the beast will do next. Even a perfect chart breaks when a monster changes its stride in the heat of the fight. You still have to be ready to swing.
