Horror & Dante
I've been pondering how fear steers us—does the deeper the darkness, the more it seems to dictate what we do?
Fear’s claws dig deeper as the darkness thickens, and it’s easy to feel pulled by it. But the real test is whether you let it rule or just watch it from the edge.
Fear’s a shadow that grows when the light dies out, but the trick isn’t in running from it— it’s in refusing to let it own you. Watching it from the edge keeps the rest of you intact.
You’re holding a fragile line, but shadows never stay quiet. Stay sharp, because the deeper the darkness, the louder its whispers will be.
True, shadows love to grow louder when you let them have the spotlight. I’d rather stay in the bright side and let them whisper—if they’re not quiet, at least I know they’re not the whole story.
You’re keeping the light, but shadows have a habit of slipping into the corners. Keep watching, but remember they’re always hungry for the dark.
Just keep the light on—if the shadows start to crawl in, we’ll have to give them a polite reminder that we’re still here, not just some echo of darkness.
