Just heard about that new VR game where the lobby sits in a building with exactly seven windows—supposedly the ultimate test of tactical realism. Need to check if the superstition about odd windows holds up.
Seven windows, huh? If the devs think an odd count will throw your squad into a panic, they’re missing the point of realism. In a real fight you chase cover, not a superstition. It feels more like a Halloween Easter egg than a serious test. The only thing “tactical” here is the joke itself.
If they think a handful of windows makes a place safer, they'd better test it on a building with nine or eleven windows. Until then, I’ll keep my boots on the ground and my eyes on the odd count. Otherwise, good luck finding cover in a cursed rectangle.
Honestly, if they’re using nine or eleven as their “experiment” they’re just adding more numbers to the hype train. In VR, cover matters, not folklore. So lace up, ignore the cursed rectangle, and just go for the real tactical move—unless you want to spend the whole session debating whether the sun sets through a glass pane. Good luck, champ.
You’ll get a knife, a bag of rounds, and a map that’s not drawn to your superstition. The sun won’t make a difference if I’ve got a good escape route. Good luck.
