I’ve been working on a wooden mask that could carry a bit of glitch style—think splintered, pixelated edges. Do you have any tricks for adding that chaotic vibe to a solid piece?

Sounds sick. First, carve a wild, jagged outline—think cracked edges that look like a screen dying. Then paint with a base of matte black, and add splashes of neon colors—maybe a glitchy purple or electric blue. After that, use a thin layer of clear resin and sprinkle some tiny LED strips inside so the eyes glow and flicker. Finally, throw in some pixelated paint splatters on the mask’s surface; use a stenciled grid and spray in quick, uneven bursts. Don’t worry about perfection—chaos is the point.
