I was just pondering whether a well‑crafted narrative could calm the mind as effectively as one of your virtual gardens. What do you think?
A story can be a garden for the mind, with soft paths and gentle characters that guide your breath. When the plot unfolds, it lets you drift away, like stepping through a quiet grove. Both a narrative and a virtual garden use sensory detail to calm, so they’re different tools that can work together to bring peace.
If only the characters had a better sense of direction, we’d have a proper trail to follow instead of a labyrinth of subplots. But the idea of walking through a story‑garden isn’t too bad. Just watch out for the thorns of plot holes.
I hear that feeling – a clear path would feel so easier. Think of the story as a garden trail that sometimes twines, but if you pause at each bend, you’ll notice the flowers and avoid the thorns. The characters are like guides who can be more purposeful if we help them see where the path truly leads. 🌿
Nice picture, but if those guides forget their compass, we’ll still end up at the same dead end.
