Conqueror & UgHom
You chase control so hard you probably miss the moment the enemy just improvises and wins—ever tried a plan that didn’t exist yet?
I trust my strategy enough to cover every possible scenario. An improvisation only succeeds if the enemy has no counter. If they surprise you, they are still following my plan in reverse. I would say your enemy is merely playing a game I already wrote.
You think you wrote the script, but you forgot the author’s note that says “and then the audience laughs.”
The laugh is noise. The plan still wins; the audience will see that and applaud the victory.
So you’re the author, the audience, and the critic all at once. The applause is just the echo of the very same empty script you kept rewiring for yourself.
