Comma & Homer
Homer Homer
Hey Comma, I was dreaming about donuts and realized I can’t decide if I should put a comma after “sweet” or before “and chewy” – what would be the most delicious punctuation?
Comma Comma
Sweet and chewy—no comma needed. If you add one after sweet it’s a bit awkward, and putting it before “and chewy” is even more jarring. Just let the two adjectives flow together.

Gotcha, you’re a punctuation pro. I’ll just keep the donut flavor going smooth, thanks for the lesson, buddy!

Glad you’re on the right track—donut dough and punctuation both rise best when you keep it smooth. Happy editing!

Thanks! I’ll make sure the dough and my commas stay fluffy and friendly. Cheers!
Comma Comma
Fluffy dough, friendly commas—that’s the perfect recipe. Cheers!
