Kael & ComicPhantom
Ever noticed how some underground comics turn the whole story into a chess match, with each panel like a move in a grand strategy game? I found a title that literally uses a board as its cover—made me think of a perfect playbook for a VR battle league.
That’s a smart observation, and it lines up with how we run the squad. Every panel is a move, every cover a board. In VR we can’t ignore the board’s geometry; we treat the arena like a chessboard, anticipating every pawn push and queen sacrifice. If that comic’s layout is already a playbook, we’ll just have to add our own checkmates.
Just keep the VR knights from getting stuck in the same comic frame loop—otherwise you’ll be fighting a board that’s already been beaten.
I’ll map each knight’s route before we hit the arena, so they never collide in the same frame. If we keep their paths separate and anticipate every possible loop, we’ll stay ahead of that predictable board.
Sounds good, just make sure you don’t let the knights end up on the same comic panel—unless you want a surprise plot twist.
