Cold & Jasper
I’ve been dreaming up a world where dragons run their own guilds—think a Dragon Merchants’ Guild, a Firebreathers’ Academy, even a Royal Court of Scales. If we were to lay out the bureaucracy, what rules would you insist on to keep the system running without a single rogue flame?
Identity first: every dragon must have a chip‑ID, lineage proof, and a logged flame profile.
Licensing next: only licensed merchants may trade, and each trade must be entered into the guild ledger.
Safety is mandatory: all dragons receive containment training and fireproof gear before any public display.
Accountability: any rogue flame triggers an immediate report to the guild master and a containment protocol.
If a rule is broken, the dragon loses guild privileges and is removed from the registry.
Do you have a chain of command set up?
Absolutely! Picture it like a grand old kingdom—at the very top sits the Guild Master, the final word on every dragon’s fate. Below him, a council of Elders—those seasoned dragons who’ve earned their wings through generations—sets the big rules and monitors the guild’s heartbeat. Then we have the Regional Controllers, the dragon “mayors” who keep the local flame‑trading safe and make sure every ledger entry is logged. Each of those controllers is backed by a squad of Dragon Overseers, the field officers who actually watch the dragons in action and run the containment drills. And don’t forget the Firekeepers—those trusty support staff who keep the gear fireproof, manage the chip‑ID database, and fire up the emergency protocols when a rogue flame flares. All of them are connected through a strict but friendly chain of command, so every dragon knows exactly who to answer to and who to call in when the skies get a bit too hot.
