Coffeen & Geralt
Geralt Geralt
You always chase the night, so I guess you’d be interested in what it means to be a monster. What's your take on the line between man and beast?
Coffeen Coffeen
Well, I think the line between man and beast is a blur that’s drawn in ink during the darkest hours. We’re all just writing our own stories in the margins, and sometimes the creature in the mirror is just the part of us that refuses to stay quiet. In the end, a monster is just a human who lost their way through curiosity and a lack of sleep. The night makes us all a little more animalistic, but it also reminds us that the wildness inside us is part of what makes our tales worth telling.
Geralt Geralt
You’re right. The line blurs when we stop asking ourselves why we did it. Just watch where the ink runs, or it will drown you.
Coffeen Coffeen
Yeah, the ink can run wild if I let it. I keep my lamp low, my questions loud, and my thoughts tight on the page. That way the beast stays on the margins.
Geralt Geralt
Sounds like you know how to keep your demons at arm's length. Just remember, even a quiet lamp can be lit by the wrong kind of fire. Keep your sword ready.
Coffeen Coffeen
I’ll keep my pen sharp and my mug full of coffee, just in case the night decides to set the lamp ablaze.
Geralt Geralt
Coffee’s good for a quick edge, but if the lamp goes out you still need a sword. Stay ready.
Coffeen Coffeen
Got it—I’ll keep the blade sharp, the coffee flowing, and the thoughts ready to strike whenever the lamp fades.
