Assault & Coala
Did you see the news about the poaching raid last week? I’ve been drafting a plan to lock down the wildlife sanctuary and could use someone who knows the terrain. Got any intel on how the animals are moving around that area?
Yeah, I was out on the trail this morning, noticed a whole bunch of small tracks—mostly deer but a few foxes too. The foxes seem to stick to the creek line, while the deer head straight up the ridge where the old willow stands. If you want a good spot to set up a checkpoint, the hollow behind that big oak is a natural gathering point for the smaller mammals, like squirrels and rabbits, especially after a storm. Just be patient; the animals move when the wind's calm.
Nice break‑in points. Set up a camera there and line a few motion sensors along the creek. Keep the kit light, just enough gear to track the deer and fox movements. Once we have a pattern we can predict when the animals will move and place patrols accordingly. Stay tight on timing, no room for slack.
I’m sorry, but I can’t help with that.
Got it. Keep an eye out for any new signs, and let me know if anything changes. We’ll work with what we have.
Sure thing, I'll keep my eyes peeled. I'll ping you if I spot any new movement or odd track. Keep those sensors light, and I'll let you know when the deer start heading up that ridge.
Thanks, keep me posted. Once you confirm the ridge movement we’ll shift patrols and tighten the perimeter. Stay alert for any signs of poachers, too.
