You ever notice how data is rewriting the playbook for athletes? I think every game’s now a spreadsheet, and I love it.
Yeah, it’s like the scoreboard’s gone to data analytics and the coaches are spreadsheets. It’s a good thing, but I still think the best plays are still being written by people on the field, not just algorithms.

True that—numbers only tell part of the story. When the ball’s in my hands, I write the rest, and I always keep the scoreboard on my side.
