You want precision but also let the system breathe—set a strict core algorithm, then expose a sandbox on top. I lock the math, then hand over the brush. If the brain of the system breaks, I fix it; if it’s too dull, I open more variables. That’s the sweet spot.
Sounds solid—tight core, open edges. Just watch that the sandbox doesn’t turn into chaos. If it does, tweak the boundaries before you let it go. A good balance keeps the system both safe and creative.
Yeah, keep the walls tight enough that the brain won’t implode, but loose enough that the artist can still sprint. If the sandbox starts throwing up glitches, tighten the loops, and you’ll stay safe while still letting the creativity flow.
