Hey Cal, I've been thinking about designing a modular horror set—like a tiny hallway that rearranges itself, a staircase that collapses, or a window that opens to a dark forest. We could build it out of blocks and make it both a puzzle and a prop. What do you think?

I like the idea, but keep the hallway shifting just enough to keep everyone on edge, and make sure the staircase collapses at the right moment to keep the tension.

Sounds good, Cal. Maybe we set the hallway to shift by one block every 15 seconds—just enough to keep people guessing but not let the whole set slide apart. For the staircase, I’ll add a hidden latch that triggers after the fifth step, so it snaps down at that critical moment. That should give the tension without being too predictable. What do you think?

That sounds tense enough, just keep the latch hidden well, so the collapse feels like a betrayal. The 15‑second shift will keep everyone on edge without letting the whole set fall apart. Good plan.
