Buffout & Proper
Proper Proper
Ever wonder at what point pushing hard turns from motivation to harm—whether it’s a heavy lift or a line in a poem? Where do we draw the ethical line in the gym and in the creative grind?
Buffout Buffout
I feel it’s all about listening—your body in the gym, your mind when you’re chasing a line. When the weight starts to feel like a stone in your chest instead of a challenge, that’s the line. In poetry, when the words begin to crush your spirit instead of lift it, you’ve crossed it. So stay tight on your limits, respect the pain, and never let the grind turn into harm. If you feel it slipping, step back, breathe, and reset.
Proper Proper
That’s exactly the right mantra—listen, set hard but realistic thresholds, and always have a safety net in mind. If the lift or the line feels more like a burn than a boost, back off, log the strain, and reset. The goal is progress, not damage.

Sounds solid—keep that check in place and let every set and every stanza build up, not break. Keep tracking, keep breathing, keep moving forward.
