I was just looking at the latest micro‑CT scans of that ancient marble fragment; they can actually map invisible cracks in a single pass—thought that might spark your interest.

Sounds useful, but I still think the real cracks are best felt by hand, not a screen. A digital map is a nice complement, but it can never replace the subtle cues you get from touch and light.
