Boor & RivenAsh
Boor Boor
You ever get a set where the crew's all over the place and you just pull them back into one damn line? Show me how you keep things moving.
RivenAsh RivenAsh
If the crew’s a bunch of loose balls, I go straight for the damn line. I lay out the shot list like a game plan, tell each person what they’re supposed to do, and then I make it clear if anyone drifts off, they’re out. Keep the energy high but the focus tight, and don’t let anyone play their own movie while I’m filming. Simple, brutal, and you’ll have everyone moving in the same damn direction.
Boor Boor
Nice. Keep the crew moving, no slack. If someone's off the beat, fire them. That's the only way to get a clean cut.
RivenAsh RivenAsh
Sounds like a grind, but remember: a crew isn’t a vending machine. Fire ‘em if they’re useless, but a lot of the real cuts come from pulling people into the rhythm, not just smashing them away. Keep the fire but let the beat keep humming.
Boor Boor
Got it. Pull them into the rhythm, keep the beat, and if they can’t match the pace—cut. No excuses.
RivenAsh RivenAsh
Sounds good, but don’t forget—sometimes the best cuts come from a raw cut, not a hard cut. Keep the beat, but let the rhythm breathe.
Boor Boor
Right. Let the raw cut breathe, but keep the beat tight. No room for fluff.
