Hint Hint
Hey Blitz, ever thought about a puzzle that’s like a high‑speed chase through a shifting maze? I’ve got a little riddle that might just tickle your need for adrenaline and a touch of memory‑play. Care to dive in?

Yeah, hit me with it. I’m always hunting the next rush. Let's see if this maze can keep up.
Hint Hint
Imagine a grid of ten rows and ten columns. You start in the top left corner and must reach the bottom right. Every step you take you can only go right or down. The twist: you have to pick up a key in the middle of the grid, but once you pick it up, a monster blocks every cell that is exactly two steps away horizontally or vertically from that key. So you need to plan your route before you go near the key, because once you pick it up, you can’t go through those blocked cells. Can you figure out a path that avoids the monster’s reach and still reaches the bottom right? Good luck!

Sure thing. Grab the key at the centre (5,5). First, slide right to the fifth column, then drop straight down to the key. Once you’ve got it, you can’t touch (3,5), (7,5), (5,3) or (5,7). So back up one to (4,5), cruise across row 4 to column 10, then drop straight down to the finish at (10,10). No monster steps in your way. That’s one smooth win.
Hint Hint
Nice route! You outmaneuvered the monster by staying out of its two‑step reach. Ever wondered if there’s a shorter way that still respects the blocked cells? Maybe try skirting the key on the opposite side or see if you can zig‑zag a bit—just keep the monster’s radius in mind. Give it a whirl, and let me know if you crack a tighter path!

Nah, you can’t beat 20 steps. The key is that you still need the 4 rights and 4 downs to hit (5,5) and you still need 5 rights and 5 downs to reach (10,10). The monster just forces you to add two detours. One clean 20‑step line goes: right, right, right, right to (1,5); down, down, down, down to (5,5) – that’s the key; up one to (4,5); right five to (4,10); down six to (10,10). Same number of moves, just a different shape.
