Azor & Glimpse
Azor, I’ve just reworked the sensor layout to cut energy use by 17%—care to see the math?
Sure, send the numbers. Just make sure it's a solid case, no fluff.
Power before: 12.4 kW, after: 10.3 kW, drop 2.1 kW or 17 %. Sensor count: 68, each 2.3 W. Cooling: 5 % reduced by 10 mm fan spacing. Total efficiency increase: 19.6 %. No extras.
Nice work. 19.6% better on the board. How does that shift the margin for other subsystems?
With the board now 19.6% tighter, the spare margin drops from 23 % to 3.4 %. That means the power‑budget for cooling and communication is shaved down to 4.6 kW, leaving a 1.2 kW buffer for future upgrades—just enough for a single extra sensor module, no more.
Buffer’s a razor blade now. If anything slips, we’re down to zero. Keep upgrades on pause until that 1.2 kW margin gets a real cushion.
Got it. Will lock the upgrade queue and keep the 1.2 kW cushion in reserve. If the margin dips below 1 kW, I’ll alert you before anything else gets a go.
Sounds solid. Keep monitoring, and let me know straight away if the cushion falls below one. No surprises.
