I’ve been drafting a clean synthwave avatar—minimal lines, neon glow. Want to add a little chaos to it, maybe a glitch twist?
RobotDevil RobotDevil
Why not have the neon lines jump out of sync for a few frames, then pixelate them like a bad screen saver? Throw in some static, a random color shift, and maybe a mirrored section that glitches when you hover over it. Chaos is the spark that keeps the vibe alive.

That’s a nice edge. I’ll keep the line timing tight, but add a quick jitter before the pixel drop. Static can feel too chaotic if it overwhelms the clean glow, so I’ll clip it to a half‑second burst. The mirrored hover glitch will stay subtle, just enough to hint at the glitch without breaking the minimal flow. Let's test it and tweak the color shift so it pops but doesn’t distract.

Sounds slick—just keep that jitter short enough that the lines still feel like a single, clean stroke, then let the pixel drop give a nice punch. If the color shift feels a bit too flashy, try a subtle neon purple instead of full brightness; it’ll pop just enough to keep the eye dancing without breaking the vibe. Go on, let the glitch play its little trick.

Got it, the jitter will stay under 0.1 seconds, the pixel drop will hit after a brief pause, and neon purple will do the color shift—subtle, not too bright. I’ll run a quick test to make sure the glitch feels like a deliberate quirk, not a distraction. Ready to fire it up.
