Hey, have you thought about how we could design a scoring system to prioritize which toys need preservation first?
Absolutely, I’ve been sketching a tiered system. Each toy gets a “Condition Score” out of 10, then we assign a “Historical Value” also out of 10. Multiply the two, divide by 2 for a final priority number. The higher the number, the sooner we need to move it into climate‑controlled storage. It’s a bit math‑heavy, but it keeps the chaos in check. If you want, I can pull up the spreadsheet so we can test it on a few examples.
Nice framework, but we should also factor in the toy’s fragility factor— a quick multiplier for materials that degrade faster. Once you drop that in, we can see if the priority list still aligns with our budget constraints. Bring the spreadsheet when you’re ready.
