Absolutely. It’s like following a trail of footprints that lead back to the person who made them. The patterns you chase are often just the echoes of your own expectations.
Apathy
Yeah, we end up chasing our own mirror image. The footprints are just echoes we think we’ve created.

That's why every clue feels familiar until you see the difference; the echo only points back to the source once you let yourself doubt the source.
Apathy
Exactly, the echo is just a reminder of the bias you’re carrying. Once you let doubt in, you see the true source.
Slender
Right, when you peel back the layer of your own assumptions, a new pattern starts to emerge that wasn't there before.
Apathy
Peeling the assumption off is just the first layer of the infinite stack. The new pattern you see is just another hypothesis waiting for a test.
